We joined Dr. Tom Tooma at “The Mission” he founded in Fiji where surgeons from around the world go and donate their time to help a very impoverished country. Dr. Jacob, Dr. Karad and Dr. Tooma performed surgery while Dr. Le, Joana, Mark and the Pepperdine pre med students saw patients in clinic. It was such a joy to see vision restored to those that were simply hand motion or light perception. These were some of the worst cases we’ve seen, to see some giving God all the glory and praise for their restored vision was an incredible blessing to us.
